Academic and English Competitions in Thailand

Along with English camps, academic competitions are another way Thailand tries to motivate their students to get students motivated about learning. This week starts a host of these kinds of competitions for my students and the effects are rippling throughout the entire school.

        Naughty kid in most ASEAN country mean active kid + creative in exploring that make headache for their parent.
        Direct translation from Malays language. Commonly use in joke.

      • Haha, there are quite a few ‘active’ kids in my classes. I tell them all the time I think they are crazy instead of naughty. They think it’s hilarious.
