Five Photos From Philly– Or rather from my trip to eastern Pennsylvania that included Valley Forge, State College, King of Prussia, and the Flight 93 Memorial.
Valley Forge has a lot of statues of our military founding fathers, but I particularly liked this one with the winter sun poking through the trees.
Trying out the fish eye lens on this basement art gallery within Old City
Philadelphia is insanely bike friendly compared to Pittsburgh, as so easily displayed on this fence outside of Christ Church
Inside of Reading Terminal Market is a spectacle of goodies for your taste buds
Some things left at the Flight 93 memorial that caught my eye and forced my brother and I to stop and remember
Five Photos From America– It’s not the first Friday of the month, but it is my first Friday Five post in America. So this is the first of probably a few visual representations of my first few weeks in the good ol’ U.S. of A. There will probably be more of these.
The battle of Spring vs. Snow. In March.
I missed America for urban views like this on the 36th floor of the Cathedral of Learning.
I’m really grateful for the time I got to spend with my on leave big brother, this shot in Phipps Conservatory.
Reflections, plant life, and more at Phipps Conservatory.
My favorite jumping picture of myself ever. I have a cape of an American flag. I’m reaching for a national monument. Love it.
Why yes, that is a chocolate covered chocolate chip cookie. It was more than delicious. Thank you Redding Terminal market for providing this little piece of heaven to me.
Guess where I am?
Steel City Goodness
And I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
This time last year I was visiting California on my way back from China. My awesome cousin, Jimmy (as my side of the family calls him, the same one with the flip-flop tattoo) planned out a fantastic trip for me, including Yosemite National Park. I’ll say this, one day wasn’t enough. You can hike, rock climb, and camp to your heart’s content. I had such a great time that I was ready to move to Northern California. I’ll just have to settle for another visit, maybe for a year or so!
One of the many amazing views in Yosemite National Park...if you haven't been there yet, do it soon!
P.S. We’ve officially hit 2,000 views. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
